2025 Spring Youth (8U-14U) Lacrosse

HSLL programs (North Reno Outlaws, South Reno Rattlers and Spanish Springs Cougars) join with other area programs (North Tahoe, Truckee, Fallon, Carson Valley) for games each week. The season culminates in a fun championship tournament.
WHO
- Boys and girls 8U through 14U
- We use USA Lacrosse age groupings for the Spring season.
WHEN
- Practices begin March 1, 2025
- Games every Saturday (excluding Memorial Day weekend) beginning April 12, 2025
- End of the season tournament June 7, 2025.
WHERE
- Saturday Game Days at Cold Spring Village Center Park
- Practice schedules and locations will be announced once municipal field allocations are set.
- Anticipated practice locations are:
- North Reno: Billinghurst Middle School; Swope Middle School
- South Reno: Virginia Foothills Park; Marce Herz Middle School
- Spanish Springs: Eagle Canyon Park

- USA Lacrosse membership valid through June 7, 2025

- Boys: Stick, Helmet, Gloves, Shoulder Pads, Arm pads, Mouthguard, Cup
- Girls: Stick Goggles, Mouthguard (Gloves and Headgear Optional)
2025 Spring 6U Coed Lacrosse

6U lacrosse is a player’s introduction to the game, and focuses on FUN, fundamentals, simple rules of play and good sportsmanship.
WHO
- Girls and Boys ages 4 through 6
- We use USA Lacrosse age groupings for the Spring season.
WHEN/WHERE
- 2 sessions per week April 12 through June 7, 2025
- Days, times and locations TBA
COST
- $130, includes stick and pinney
- $100 if you have a stick; includes pinney
REQUIREMENTS
- USA Lacrosse membership valid through June 8, 2024
- Youth Lacrosse Stick (included in $130 fee, or use one you already have.)
- Mouth guard (please make sure it is molded prior to first practice)
- Cleats (recommended but not required)
- Play will be with soft lacrosse balls and tennis balls
